1. What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use the term here to cover cookies and similar technologies, including local storage, which this website uses to remember your consent choice.

2. Nothing non-essential runs before you choose

This website uses Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics and advertising signals are set to denied before the tag container is allowed to load, so no analytics or advertising cookie is set until you make an explicit choice.

Scrolling or continuing to browse is not consent. If you close the preferences dialog without choosing, everything stays denied.

3. The three categories

Necessary

Required for the website to work and to remember your consent choice. These cannot be switched off. This category covers the consent record described in section 4 and the standard technical processing needed to serve the site securely.

Analytics

Off unless you turn them on. Analytics cookies help us understand how the website is used and how it performs: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which devices and browsers they use. They map to the analytics_storage signal.

Advertising

Off unless you turn them on. Advertising cookies help us measure and improve advertising campaigns, including whether a visit followed an advertisement. They map to the ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and personalization_storage signals.

4. The consent record

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key mand_cookie_consent. It holds which categories you accepted, the date and time of the choice, and a version number.

It stays on your device, does not identify you, and is what stops the banner reappearing on every page.

5. Tag management and third parties

Tags on this website are loaded through Google Tag Manager. The tags configured inside that container may include Google analytics and advertising services, and they run only within the consent state you have set.

Where those services set their own cookies, they do so as third parties under their own terms.

6. Changing or withdrawing your choice

• Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page to reopen the dialog and change your categories.
• Choose Reject non-essential to return everything to denied.
• Clear this site's storage in your browser to remove the record and be asked again.
• Use your browser's own settings to block or delete cookies generally.

Withdrawing consent stops further non-essential processing. It does not undo processing that already took place while consent was in effect.

7. Changes and contact

When this policy changes materially we bump the consent version, which invalidates stored choices and asks every visitor again.
